Immersion is a site-specific sound installation and intervention exploring the relationship between auditory, visual and somatosensory senses. Despite a visual and physical absence of water, upon entering the empty immersion bath the sound of splashing water is triggered by a motion sensor. This heightened auditory experience aims to challenge the modes of perception we use.
